Lead design for Home Intelligence on the Google Home Automation & Intelligence team. The various products below are a selection of projects I have worked on and designed experiences for. My predominant focus in this work was on enabling more helpful Intelligence experiences for the Google Home Platform.

Home & Away Presence Sensing

Presence sensing can help home devices adjust to users needs when they are home or away. The feature uses phone location and sensors in supported Google Home devices to can help determine whether or not someone's home, which means these signals, working together, can help determine presence inside the home. Presence sensing adjust routines like the Home and Away Routines to run helpful actions like turning off lights or adjusting the thermostat to Eco when Away.
